Here’s what you can expect from this episode:
What if the reason you’re struggling to stay consistent on social media isn’t because you need more ideas, but because you’re still trying to wing your content instead of building a system around it?
In this episode, I’m sitting down with real estate and mortgage broker Selene Hanna, who has built roughly $100 million in business and now gets 90% of her business from social media. We’re getting into what her content system actually looks like behind the scenes, from scripting and batching her videos to deciding what’s worth filming and making educational real estate content interesting enough that people actually want to watch it.
We also talk about why you don’t need a professional videographer or perfectly polished content to get results, how to take what’s already working and make it your own, and why your personality and personal life might be the thing that actually gets someone to choose you. Because your content doesn’t need to look like everyone else’s. It needs to feel like you and, more importantly, it needs to be something you can consistently keep doing.
If you’ve been overthinking what to post, putting off video, or feeling like you need to have your entire content strategy figured out before you start, this episode will help you simplify it. Selene breaks down a realistic place to start so you can stop waiting for inspiration, build a system that works for you, and create content that actually supports your business.

More about Above Asking:
Most real estate podcasts tell you what to post—the trends, the templates, the strategies everyone swears by. Above Asking is different. This is a perspective-driven show for the next-gen real estate agent who wants to build a brand that stands out by learning how to think, not just what to do.
If you're showing up, posting consistently, doing all the things, but you're starting to wonder if any of this is actually going to work, you're in the right place. Everyone's giving you the what. Nobody's teaching you the how. So you're out here with no real strategy behind any of it, and it's way harder than it looked.
